Removal Of Some Tree Guards

We have been working hard to remove the tree guards from the new tree belt planted on the west side of the country park. The trees and shrubs had grown through the mesh and growth was being hampered. Many had to be cut off. The guards also had to be transported back to the storage yard. It has taken us four sessions to complete but we finished last Sunday. Now we can look after the plants and hope that the new belt gradually matures.

Supporting the Honeysuckle Plants

On March 20th, the Beaver Scouts from Mulbarton came to the Country Park to help erect supports for honeysuckle plants in the new woodland belt on the west side.
