Mad About Mammals Event

Ladybelt Country Park Conservation Volunteers invite you to join us at the ‘Mad About Mammals’ event on Sunday June 10th 2018 from 11am to 4pm at Ladybelt Country Park, Hethersett Road, East Carleton NR14 8HX.

You will learn about and see some of our favourite wild mammals, including the following activities:

• 12:00pm and 2:00pm – Talk about bats with live bats to see.
• 12:30pm and 2:30pm – Guided walk looking for mammal signs, checking traps and a visit to the ice house bat hibernation site.

A Couple of Bug Hotel Havens

Ten conservation volunteers enjoyed wonderful weather for the work party on Sunday and it was great to have some young faces too. We had a busy morning working around the newly de-silted ponds and completed a number of tasks, as well as having time to do a reptile search and devour Mike’s scrumptious cakes!
